A Perpetual Truth
Pro-Active Project – Jersey, Channel Islands
We spend a lot of time outside. It’s where we get our best ideas, some of which we want to put into practice regardless of whether there’s a brief that calls for it.
Watching a late summer’s afternoon give way to a beautiful evening, we gathered a group of friends to surf, socialise and enjoy the sun sinking into the sea on Jersey’s west coast. Offering a taste of life on the largest Channel Island, the project epitomised the philosophy of surfing: patience and acceptance.
Swell materialised and waves were caught, but on this afternoon the Atlantic did not deliver to its full potential. Gathered around the fire pit with cold drinks and warm jumpers, all were offered a welcome reminder of a perpetual truth: time spent in the sea is never time wasted.
