Still one of the newest, but also one of the most exciting, events in the UK cycling calendar, VIA Criterium is a true celebration of cycling. Welcoming the great and good of cycling — from grassroots riders to top tier teams — this two day festival is created with to cater to a broad church of riders and spectators.

But that doesn’t mean the circuit is a cake walk. Short, sharp and technical, the course snakes it’s way through iconic Coal Drops Yard as a two-tier gallery of spectators and supporters supply a cacophony of noise.

The atmosphere, like the racing itself, was electric.
